ITM Group expands its global service network by opening a new service centre, GTS/SCM S.A. in the Dominican Republic. The new service centre supplies machinery and spare parts to the cigar industry in the Caribbean and Latin Americas. GTS-SCM provides maintenance and services to the industry with an experienced team of well trained technicians.
The more than 3000 square-meter GTS/SCM S.A. service centre holds a vast stock of used cigar machinery as well as spares to minimize delivery times to customers in the region.
Uniquely GTS-SCM also provides customers with tobacco consultancy through the immense experience of Daniel Nunez and Modesta Fondeur, former President and CEO of General Cigar, who are partners in GTS-SCM.
Consultancy in the agronomical field as well as blending advises or even tobacco purchasing mediation are their daily business, making GTS-SCM a one stop shop for the cigar industry.
